Description
This session will review the principles of acoustic design and how they affect indoor environmental quality, improving occupant comfort and well-being by using and understanding modern acoustical solutions and performance. Sean Browne is the senior manager of the Research and Development group at Armstrong, where he leads a team of innovative engineers and scientists. He has engineering degrees from Florida State University and the University of Miami, and has written for various architectural and interior magazines. His research has been featured in the journals of the International Symposium on Room Acoustics and the Acoustical Society of America.
