Successful design – design excellence – advances positive social benefits by balancing materiality with thoughtful articulation of how communities use space to live, work, or play. In this session, the Co-Founder of New York–based WXY, Claire Weisz, and the firm’s Director, Civic Impact, Traci Sanders, discuss how diversity, iteration, and engagement shape the practice, its relationship to clients and communities, and the places it designs and builds.
