Our group of industry leaders representing Architects, Distributors, Engineers, Lighting Designers, Lighting Controls Specialists and Lighting Manufacturers are back together to cover additional lighting industry topics. The panelists discuss designing for the future, control strategies and opportunities, and how to keep up with the pace of change in lighting design and technology. Offered in collaboration with the Illuminating Engineering Society.

Learning objectives

  • Identify opportunities within the future of the lighting industry to facilitate collaboration and technology adoption. 
  • Understand the disruption LED causes the supply chain and custom lighting manufacturers, and learn ways to mitigate project concerns.  
  • Explore ways to future-proof lighting and controls design.
  • Identify the impact of energy codes and egress lighting on different roles of the lighting team.
