Live Course: The ROI of Investing in Diversity

Come learn about how one company implemented recommendations found in AIA's Guides to Equitable Practice.

Description:

Last year, HKS hired their first director of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Find out how this role has changed their firm culture and created an environment that inspires limitless thinking and lasting effort. Dan Noble, FAIA President & CEO, joins Yiselle Santos, Assoc. AIA, Director of HKS’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion program to share how they implemented AIA’s Guides to Equitable Practice to improve firm culture, raise employee satisfaction, and bring their successes and creative energy to the clients and communities they design for.

Workplace culture affects every aspect of a firm, and it is vital for firm leaders and employees to both understand and become aware of current cultural patterns driving perception and behavior in the workplace. There is no single ideal workplace culture; the place, people, and goals of every firm are different. AIA’s Guide to Equitable Practice provide key insights to help individuals, firms, and other organizations build equity, diversity, and inclusion in architecture.
