Sara Beardsley

Sara Beardsley has been a Sr. Architect with AS+GG for the past 10 years and was formerly an associate at the Chicago office of Skidmore Owings and Merrill. Her focus is large international projects including, most recently the World Expo 2017 and high-rise buildings including the 435m Akhmat Tower in Russia. Her experience also includes project such as the FKI Headquarts in Seoul, Korea and Trump Tower in Chicago, Illinois. She also led the team at AS+GG that studied the greening and modernization of the Willis Tower. Sara has received the AIA National Young Architect Award, the AIA Chicago Young Architect Award, and was recognized as one of Crain's Chicago Business' "40 Under 40". She currently serves as vice-chair on the AIA International Practice Committee Advisory Group.
