Luciana Burdi

As Director for the Capital Programs and Environmental Affairs at Massport, Dr. Luciana Burdi leads Capital Programs towards a more innovative, progressive, BIM and Design Technology-driven department. She adopts Lean and Lean Construction principles and concepts, creates a continuous improvement culture, maximizes the value for customers, and improves quality outcomes. She held several positions at the DCAMM for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her other major accomplishments are:

  • Doctorate degree from Harvard Graduate School of Design
  • SPURS Fellow (Special Program in Urban and Regional Studies) at MIT
  • Master's Degree from the Instituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (IUAV) in Venice Italy
