Jillian Burgess

Jillian Burgess is a Building Enclosure Consultant with The Facade Group in Philadelphia. Jill specializes in Building Performance Modeling and has extensive experience with schematic analysis, detailed thermal investigations, daylight/glare optimization, and CFD modeling. Her research focuses on balancing daylight and heat gain in glass facades and holistic life-cycle analysis of various assembly types. She believes strongly in the impact energy analysis can have in improving building performance. She has worked on buildings around the world, and is familiar with a multitude of building practices. She has extensive experience in Building Enclosure Commissioning for a variety of building types and scales.

Jill has bachelor's in Architecture from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Architecture from The University of Pennsylvania. She has been a registered Architect in Pennsylvania since 2008 and a LEED® AP since 2005. She is a member of the Philadelphia IBPSA (International Building Performance Simulation Association) and CREW (Commerical Real Estate Women).
