Jean Carroon FAIA LEED Fellow is a Principal with Goody Clancy, a Boston-based architecture, planning and preservation firm serving educational, governmental and private sector clients and communities nationwide. Goody Clancy collaborates with clients to create designs and plans that elevate their aspirations, inspire creativity and collaboration and build social, economic and environmental value. Jean leads Goody Clancy’s preservation practice, focusing on the opportunities inherent in the stewardship and creative reuse of existing buildings to create a healthy resilient world. She has been responsible for the restoration or adaptive reuse of a dozen National Historic Landmarks and her book “Sustainable Preservation: Greening Existing Buildings” was published by Wiley in 2010.

A former chair of the AIA Historic Resources Committee, Jean was a founding member of the Technical Committee for Sustainability in the Association for Preservation Technology and a past instructor in green design for the National Preservation Institute.
