Charlie Choo is COO of Altoura and is responsible for day-to-day operations and executing the company's longterm goals. He works closely with project teams and customers to define project plans, establish success criteria, and evaluate the quality of work with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
Charlie is a passionate listener and an expert in creating effective workflows. Since 2006, he has led Altoura's most notable projects including ground-breaking work to enable Microsoft to use spatial computing to plan, design, and promote their global portfolio of real-estate projects. Altoura’s work includes realistic virtual reality models and mock-ups as a context for mixed reality training – these digital environments augment realtime learning and collaboration in new ways that allow companies to increase training effectiveness while decreasing cost and risks. Due to his background as an architect, Charlie understands the power of visualization and the ways spatial computing can empower and impact decision-making.
Charlie has served on the faculty of the University of Washington College of Architecture and the Art Department at Seattle Pacific University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tufts University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington.
