Peter A. Cox

Peter has a primary degree in chemical engineering, he has worked in the analysis of decay of historic masonry, the treatment of stone and mortar in Heritage Buildings, monuments, and sites for over 30 years, is the founding member and Managing Director of Carrig Conservation International Limited and has gained over thirty years’ international experience in the conservation in historic buildings and all types of porous building materials.  Carrig also specializes in the conservation of 20th century buildings and is a leading expert in “Concrete Conservation. Carrig has developed two new divisions within the last number of years, one is in pure Research and the other is in the design of Energy Efficient Methodologies for Traditional and Historic Buildings.   

Peter lectures internationally and on many university architectural, conservation and world heritage courses.
