Michael F. Czap

Michael serves as a principal with the Dallas office of RTKL Associates. He has thirty years of broad experience in Architectural Planning, Design, Project Management, Production and Contract Administration. Michael is skilled at project and team organization, the process of putting a building together and coordinating a thorough team effort. He has significant experience with healthcare design and construction from new standalone facilities to complex multi-phased renovations with involvement from early design through construction. He is well familiar with NFPA Life Safety Code, FGI Guidelines, and similar healthcare regulations.

Michael has actively lead efforts at RTKL to identify and implement new technologies and cutting edge project delivery practices. He currently serves as Chair of RTKL’s Delivery Leadership Council, a firm-wide effort for improving project delivery and is a member of the RTKL Performance Driven Design group. An accomplished speaker, Mr. Czap has spoken on Lean Architecture and advanced project delivery processes and Building Information Modeling (BIM) at numerous conferences across the United States. He has also contributed articles to the AIA Best Practices, Chapter 13, and the AIA Practice Management Digest.
