Veronica O. Davis, PE is a self-described transportation nerd. She believes all people should have access to safe, reliable, and affordable transportation. She has experience in civil engineering and planning. She is currently the Director of Transportation & Drainage Operations for the City of Houston. She is also the co-founder and former Managing Partner at Nspiregreen LLC. She is one of the co-founders of Black Women Bike (BWB) and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Currently, she is the Vice President and City of Houston representative on the National Association of City Transportation Officials Board. She earned her two master’s degrees (Engineering Management and Regional Planning) from Cornell University. She has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Maryland. She lives in Houston with her husband and daughter.
