Julia Donoho, AIA, Esq. is an award winning architect and attorney, with three decades of experience in architecture, including 14 years in residential design. Donoho served as the 2013-15 California member of the AIA National Board of Directors and Strategic Council, and led the effort to nominate Julia Morgan, FAIA, for the 2014 AIA Gold Medal. She also championed the nomination of Robert Venturi, FAIA, and Denise Scott Brown Hon. FAIA, for the 2016 Gold Medal, the highest honor of the Institute. Donoho is finishing a book on Julia Morgan’s education, early career and innovations, to be published in 2017. Donoho is Principal, Project Lead at EQUINOX Design and Development which provides legal services, education, advocacy, and design services for architects, engineers, contractors, planners, owners, and developers.
