Carmen R. Evans, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, O+M, is a Project Manager and LEED Consultant for The Epsten Group in Atlanta, Georgia. She has served as a Project Administrator for multiple LEED-EB O+M v2009 projects and a new LEED-EB O+M v4 project. Her role as a certified LEED Project Reviewer has given Ms. Evans experience on hundreds of LEED projects. She is a member of the Branch Leadership Group for USGBC-Savannah and is certified in GRI Sustainability Reporting. Carmen also performs consulting on adaptive reuse and ongoing operations, including the 2011 renovation project for the Epsten Group’s office building located in Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward.
Aside from the LEED-NC Platinum Certification and four Green Globes achieved for this building, Carmen initiated the pursuit of the new LEED-EB O+M v4 pilot program for this project, which resulted in a second Platinum certification. As part of the Epsten Group team, Carmen is dedicated to raising the bar on sustainable building solutions. Carmen is a Registered Architect with a broad range of project experience in architecture and interior design. She has worked on the design and construction of office buildings, condominiums, hotels, theaters, public facilities, and residences. Her interior design projects include corporate offices, a communications center, as well as space planning and FF&E for multiple clients, including the Epsten Group’s offices.
