R. David Frum
David has been an innovator in healthcare architecture and is recognized as an expert on healthcare design both nationally and throughout the Northwest region. He received specialized training on LEAN Healthcare and Design while collaborating with Virginia Mason Medical Center - and applies those principles in his practice.
David focuses on designs that transform the physical architecture of a building into a tool that assists in the healing and wellbeing of patients and their families. These spaces become a place where humanity rises over regulations and technology, allowing all users to experience human dignity. David’s experience ranges from challenging remodels to the 360,000 s.f. MultiCare Good Samaritan Dally Patient Care Tower.
Driven by a steadfast commitment to the next generation of healthcare designers, David initiated and led regional healthcare design activities, guiding the efforts of the AIA’s Academy of Architecture for Health. He is a past board member of the Academy of Architecture for Health.
