Janine M. Glaeser


Janine M. Glaeser, AIA is a licensed architect currently working as an Architect and Urban Planner for the City of Madison, WI. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee – School of Architecture and Urban Planning.

Janine has held various AIA Wisconsin Chapter and State Board positions and is currently one of two AIA WI State Disaster Assistance Coordinators chairing the AIA WI Disaster Assistance Committee and working with Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM.) She is also currently a National CAL OES Certified SAP Trainer and an AIA SAP Trainer.

The AIA WI Disaster Assistance team developed a partnership with the Wisconsin Emergency Management Association and formalized it with an MOU and a Disaster Assistance Policy and Procedure Manual. The WI team provided multiple SAP trainings over the last 9 years and was able to respond with 20 volunteers and assess over 550 flood damaged buildings in south-central Wisconsin in August of 2018.
