Christopher J. Green, FAIA is the is the founding principal of Ago Studios, Inc., a small regionally based strategic architecture firm focusing on design and Sustainability for commercial, hospitality and Residential clients. Chris holds licenses in Washington State and Colorado, and is a LEED accredited professional. Chris has recently served as Vice Chair of the Sustainable Buildings Technology Committee (SBTC) representing The American Institute of Architects (AIA) on the effort charged with developing the International Green Construction Code (IgCC) – a joint effort of ICC, AIA and ASTM. He served as the Vice Chair of the IGCC Public Hearing Committee charged with responding to public comments on Version 2.0 of the IGCC.
Mr. Green was the 2011 Chair of the AIA Codes and Standards Committee. Mr. Green received the 2010 AIA Colorado Leadership Award for service to the members of AIA Colorado. Additionally he was honored by the Colorado West Chapter as 2010 Architect of the Year. In 2009 Mr. Green received the AIA Colorado West President's award for leadership on local, state and national levels to address Advocacy and government affairs. He is currently a member of the AIA's Board Advocacy Committee, with responsibilities relating to integrated Project Delivery, licensing and Advocacy policy for the AIA.
