Principal, Cohen Hilberry Architects
Gina Hilberry, AIA is a principal of the architectural design firm Cohen Hilberry Architects. For over 35 years Gina has provided thoughtful solutions through architectural and consulting services related to historic preservation, building renovation, new construction, and accessibility design and review. Her firm provides inclusive design, ADA and Fair Housing consulting to the U.S. DOJ, National Park Service, the Missouri Commission on Human Rights, the Alabama Department of Corrections, the City of St. Louis, the Missouri Botanical Garden and many private legal and architectural firms. She is Vice Chair of the ANSI/ICC A1171. Standards Development Committee and works regularly with the DOJ Civil Rights Division on housing enforcement. She is also Chair of the Advisory Council for the City of St. Louis Office on the Disabled and past President of the St. Louis Chapter of the AIA. Ms. Hilberry served on the Access Board Public Rights-of-Way Advisory Committee and worked on the Technical Assistance Manual for PROW. Her experience includes more than 15 years as adjunct faculty at Washington University in St. Louis, School of Architecture. She is also staff consultant and architect for the Institute for Human Centered Design in Boston, MA.
