She is the founding partner of Hoachlander Davis Photography and co-founder of Photographing Spaces, the educational photography division of their studio. Photographing Spaces was created in 2010 out of a desire to teach architects and other built environment professionals about the many facets and techniques utilized when photographing architecture. Photography clients have won hundreds of design awards using Anice's work and her photographs have been published in numerous magazines and websites such as Trends, Home & Design, LUXE, Architizer, Arch Daily, Custom Home, Residential Architect, Washingtonian, and Architectural Record. Voted Best of 2008 by the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), Anice was showcased on the national website as one of 20 photographers selected from a field of 400 candidates. She has also won various International Color Honors Awards and a TrendsAwards Best Cover Photograph of the Year.
As an affiliate member of the AIA and professional members of ASMP and APA, Ms. Hoachlander prides herself on the active role she plays within the design and photography communities. Ms. Hoachlander served as Co-Chair of the Design Excellence Committee, a group created to organize over 600 award-winning design award projects from local architectural firms at the DCAIA host booth at the 2012 National AIA convention in Washington, DC.
