Meghana R. Joshi

Meghana Joshi, Assoc AIA is an archipreneur and archimom based in Orange County, CA. Meghana has worked on diverse commercial, light industrial and residential projects throughout California and Nevada. An Associate at William Hezmalhalch Architects' Multifamily Department, she specializes in senior housing projects. Her projects have received 2017 SAGE Gold Award for Best 55+ Independent Living Community, 2018 PCBC Gold Nugget Grand Award for Best Affordable Senior Community, 2018 SAGE Best 55+ Gold Award for Affordable Rental Community as well as Assisted Living/ Special Needs Community, 2018 SoCal Award for Best Architectural Design of a Multifamily Community, 2018 Argentum Senior Living Award, 2018 NAHB Best of 55+ Housing for Affordable Rental Community as well as Assisted Living/ Special Needs Community. Meghana is the recipient of 2018 AIA California Council’s Academy of Emerging Professionals Associate award, as well as Presidential Citation honoring her commitment to service. She is the Founder/Chair of Women in Architecture committee for AIA Orange County. In 2019, she joins AIA Orange County Board of Directors as Director for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. Meghana has filed patent on a Life & Safety device for buildings with her husband Rajesh Joshi, and currently they are collaborating to design and engineer the product.
