Jeffrey Kroessler

Jeffrey A. Kroessler is an urban historian specializing in housing, urban planning, and historic preservation in New York City. His dissertation at the CUNY Graduate Center was an urbanization study of the Borough of Queens. He has written on the water systems of New York and Brooklyn; planned communities; the works of Robert Moses; sports history; and urban terrorism. He has been involved in historic preservation circles in the city for over three decades.
