Senior Director, Systemwide Design | Los Angeles Metro
Adam Light is the Senior Director for Los Angeles Metro Systemwide Design. He and his team of urban planners and designers implement and continually update LA Metro's Systemwide Station Design "kit-of-parts" for rail and BRT station public areas. This new, innovative design approach is creating state-of-the art customer environments for over 50 new stations currently under development as part of the unprecedented expansion the LA Metro transit system. Adam has over 25 years of experience as an urban designer, land use planner and transportation planner for the cities of Rockville MD, San Francisco, and New York, and for the lead transit agencies in Toronto and Los Angeles. Adam is a long-standing member of the American Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Planners, and is a Certified Urban Designer.
