Carol Loewenson

Carol Loewenson, FAIA is a partner at Mitchell Giurgola. She is a graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture. She was the 2016 President of AIA New York and has served as a Board member of AIA New York, the Center for Architecture and New Yorkers for Parks. In addition, she has served on numerous local and national professional panels and juries. Ms. Loewenson was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 2013. Her expertise ranges from highly technical buildings, renovations and façade replacements, to work involving both the public and private sector. Her clients include the New York Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library, New York University, Cornell University, Rockefeller University, City University and the New York Unified Courts System.
