Katharine Logan
Katharine is an award-winning writer with a focus on sustainability, well-being and design in the built environment. Her publication credits include Architectural Record, Landscape Architecture Magazine, USGBC Plus, and Dodge Data & Analytics’ SmartMarket Report series, among others. She is the principal author of AIA’s Renovate, Retrofit, Reuse: Uncovering the hidden value in America’s existing building stock.
Katharine’s writing is informed by her years of practice with acclaimed architecture firms on Canada’s west coast. As a designer and project manager, she has provided leadership to retrofit and new-built projects at a range of scales, including a Green Building of the Year Award winner from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and the Canada Green Building Council.
She holds professional degrees in law and architecture.
