Anthony Loui has more than 20 years' experience in the fields of transportation and city planning, architecture, urban design, and public policy development. He has worked for the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) at the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) in Washington DC, developing, evaluating and recommending new public transportation investments, public-private partnership arrangements, transit-oriented development and intermodal policy initiatives. He currently works in California at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) to develop agency initiatives and investments in planning, program management and operations. Anthony was the FTA liaison for the Transit Cooperative Research Program’s (TCRP) Report 187 Livable Corridors and Metrics. He is an active member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB), the Urban Tram Forum in Europe and participates in activities with the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).
