Senior Policy Analyst, Nemours
Patti Miller, MPP, is a senior policy analyst at Nemours, one of the nation's largest pediatric health systems. She is responsible for policy research and advocacy on healthy and active communities, including developing briefing papers and public testimony on the relationship between health and the built environment. Patti also provides technical assistance to land use and transportation planning efforts and advises state committees and local organizations. She currently serves as Chair of the Environment and Policy Committee of the Delaware Coalition for Healthy Eating and Active Living, and serves on a workgroup of the Governor’s Council for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.
Prior to joining Nemours, Patti was senior director of website and publications at the America’s Promise Alliance, where she developed a variety of tools and resources to support the work of community coalitions and partner organizations focused on positive youth development. She conducted research to support scholars in the economic studies program at The Brookings Institution and facilitated program expansion for Supporting Kidds, a human services non-profit organization. Patti holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
