Len Pilon is Director of Workplace Strategy—Ideation for Haworth, Inc. He leads a team of scientists, researchers, workplace strategists, architects, and interior designers.
Len joined Haworth in 2009, bringing 30 years of architectural experience creating and delivering innovative, high-performance, and sustainable workplaces. In his current role, Len leads a team that translates research and knowledge to inform workplace strategy and conceptual design of the workplace. The team engages with global customers and their partners to facilitate a strategic approach that links business performance to tailored workplace solutions.
This proven process has been used to define the workplace strategy and master plan for Haworth’s 300,000-square-foot LEED Gold global headquarters, One Haworth Center. Through a deeper understanding of culture, collaboration, workstyles, and change management, the facility is a tool for client engagement and employee effectiveness. Len’s team won an AIA COTE award in 2003 for Top 10 Green Projects in the world for the Marketplace building.
Len’s unique experience as a practicing architect, workplace strategy consultant, leader of corporate real estate/facilities, and real estate development offers an integrated approach to creating high-performance workplaces. Len has led over a dozen projects achieving various levels of LEED, including Platinum.
