In her current role with Kaiser Permanente’s (KP) National Facilities Services, Linda Raker is a Principal Interior Designer on the Facilities, Strategy Planning + Design (FSPD) team. This group oversees the design program that governs building design standards for KP’s entire building portfolio at the national level. This comprehensive program influences the design of 100+ million square feet and more than 800 buildings in eight regions across the United States.
As part of the Design/Innovations team, Linda leads various multi-disciplinary efforts to develop new tools and processes to support the ever-changing world of health care. Among these efforts, Linda co-led the development of KP’s ‘Total Health Environment’ facility brand tool, aimed at improving the overall member experience. She also oversees the sign program at the national level.
Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 2007, Ms. Raker was a founding principal of RMA, a contract interior design firm based in the San Francisco Bay area.
