Tania Salgado is an award-winning architect, one of the founding principals of Handprint Architecture, a design firm centered in craft, collaboration and community. Her design philosophy is centered around the principle that truly great architecture must be of its time and place, and seamlessly integrate sustainable solutions.
She is active in her community and profession, having held leadership positions with the American Institute of Architects, serves on Denver’s Lower Downtown Design Review Board (LDDRB) and sits on the Society of College and University Planning (SCUP) Regional Council. Tania’s projects have received multiple awards and publication, and she has been individually recognized in the community and profession. Most recently she was presented with the AIA Denver 2013 Medal of Achievement.
