Lotte Schlegel

Lotte Schlegel is the Executive Director of the Institute for Market Transformation (IMT), a national nonprofit organization that is focused on putting U.S. buildings to work to solve social and environmental problems. Under her leadership, IMT accelerates demand for high-performance buildings through hands-on guidance, technical and market research, and policy development. Lotte’s background includes running water and energy efficiency programs, early stage energy technology, and policy and utility regulation. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
