Corey Squire is the Sustainability Manager at Lake|Flato Architects, a firm that focuses on regional and site based strategies to create buildings that are respectful in their use of natural resources and promote occupant happiness. Corey works with all project teams to establish sustainability goals, analyze designs with performance modeling software, and collect post-occupancy performance data. He also coordinates the Lake|Flato R&D Program and manages the firm’s sustainability knowledge via the intranet. Outside the office, Corey co-leads the San Antonio Committee On The Environment and has taught design and sustainability courses at Tulane University and The University of Texas San Antonio. In 2012, Corey was awarded the Eskew+Dumez+Ripple Research Fellowship to study post-occupancy energy performance and data collection techniques.
