Michael is currently leading as a Senior Associate at Corgan. He has seventeen years of experience serving in the Aviation Market Sector. As a Registered Architect, Michael is involved with projects from early schematic design through construction administration, project close-out documentation and post-occupancy assessments. He has also worked on a variety of project types ranging from ground-up terminals and building additions to focused renovations within existing facilities. He understands that the successful completion of a project is the result of a team effort and maintains a solutions-based approach when coordinating with design and construction teams. Michael is a LEED AP with BD+C specialty and approaches every project with his expertise in designing environmentally sustainable buildings. From early site development through construction administration he is able to coordinate with the design team for client presentations and documentation for LEED certification. Like many others at Corgan, he believes that good design is synonymous with sustainable design. Michael’s Recent projects include Fort Lauderdale Terminal 3 Modernization Projects, Dallas Love Field Terminal Modernization, Abu Dhabi Terminal 1 Refurbishment, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Terminal Master Planning and Redevelopment Program and La Guardia Terminal C & D Security Checkpoint Expansions. Specialties: Sustainable strategies, project management, technical coordination, post-occupancy analysis and research and development initiatives. Project types include terminal planning, adaptive re-use, corporate office, data center and healthcare specialties. Michael is also experienced in Design-Build and Integrated Project Delivery methodologies.
