Marshall Sweet is a research engineer at Southface Energy Institute who conducts research for the US Department of Energy's Advanced Commercial Buildings Initiative and Building America programs. He is responsible for executing test plans by installing monitoring equipment in the field to remotely collect data to analyze the performance of HVAC systems, water heating equipment, and building materials for residential and commercial buildings. He also provides technical assistance to builders/developers, field testing/commissioning of buildings, energy modeling and optimization of buildings
