​Richard Tannahill

Richard Tannahill is the Deputy Division Chief and Supervisor of the Building Standards Unit (BSU) with the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. He has over 30 years of architectural experience, of which over 25 years is in healthcare specializing in project management, building code, and construction administration. He has worked on several Behavioral Health Hospitals both with OSHPD and prior. Richard is a past board member of the Hospital Building Safety Board and remains active as OSHPD staff. He has been with the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development since April 2015 and is currently working on 2022 code revisions.
