Linda Twomey

Since 2018, Linda Twomey, LICSW, has served as the Executive Director & CEO of the Siena Francis House, located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska.  The Siena Francis House is the state’s largest provider of services to individuals experiencing homelessness, providing emergency shelter, medical respite, street outreach services, residential addiction treatment which includes transitional housing and permanent supportive housing. Siena Francis House is working on the Cottages, a 50 unit, tiny home, community that will open later this summer.    Before joining Siena Francis House, Linda worked for 15 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs in various leadership roles at the VA’s Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. While at the VA, Linda had a successful tenure leading the growth of the VA’s homeless programs in Omaha.  Linda was instrumental in coordinating partnerships in the development of three permanent supportive housing projects for Veterans in Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island, creating 186 new units to serve Veterans experiencing homelessness.   Linda earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Social Work and Sociology from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
