Instructors
John  Gordon

John is a director and editor based in Dallas, TX. He has a knack for creating fresh content by pulling inspiration from numerous industries and aims to challenge audiences by introducing them to untold stories, diverse cultures and new ways of thinking. John graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and spent his following years in New York and Texas producing work for major brands including Calvin Klein, Fossil, GQ and The Huffington Post. He has also screened documentaries in the Cannes and SCAD film festivals and was the winner of the AIA Film Challenge 2020. John is currently the Co-Owner of The Modern Reel, a future focused production company that features projects which highlight the advancement of education, technology and architecture.

Emily  Teng Yan

Emily Teng Yan, AIA is an architect at OMNIPLAN in Dallas, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati. She primarily focuses on the religious and civic projects. She is passionate about creating well-crafted buildings that focus on the community and place-making.
