Grace C. Lin, AIA, CDT, DBIA, Director at Cumming Group, is an accomplished professional serving the higher education, healthcare, and corporate sectors. With 30+ years of experience, her practice is grounded in architecture and Owner-side leadership in the development and delivery of complex capital programs. Drawing on dual perspectives as both an architect and Owner advisor, Grace guides executive leaders in navigating complex capital programs from vision through execution. She translates data into actionable strategies, aligns diverse stakeholders, and advances integrated project delivery. As a trusted Owner advisor, she develops tailored delivery frameworks and roadmaps that strengthen decision-making, collaboration, and innovation while helping organizations modernize how capital programs are planned and delivered. Her leadership philosophy centers on creating lasting value and improving outcomes — not simply delivering buildings. 

Grace holds a B.S. in Architecture and two M.S. degrees, in Construction Administration and in Sustainability Management. In 2024, she co-authored DBIA’s Owner Advisor Primer for the AEC industry. 

As an industry leader, Grace serves as a Director for DBIA NYC Region and on DBIA Owner Advisor national committee. As an educator, she cultivates future leaders and shapes the industry. She also leads AMFP’s Healthcare Facility Matters Podcast. In 2019 and 2020, Grace chaired the AIA Project Delivery Knowledge Community. Her work reflects a commitment to advancing leadership, collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the AEC industry.
